Meditation classes with Yaovi Brown will be offered on the

1st Tuesday of Each Month in the farm house loft throughout the winter and spring, until the Wellness Center is completed in the loft of the barn.

 

Yaovi is a former yogic monk for Ananda Marga. He studied

in India and the Philippines and taught meditation and yoga

in Africa, Jamaica, France and now in the United States.

 

We have meditation mats and pillows, yoga mats, chairs,

or a couch for your comfort.  Please park to left of the

garage and enter the main farm house door.

 

$10 donation per person.

 

 

Yaovi Brown is a former yogic monk for Ananda Marga.

He studied in India and the Philippines, taught meditation

and yoga in Africa, Jamaica, France and now in the United

States. Yoga classes are offered every Thursday at 6:00p.m. during the summer and then the Wellness Center loft.

Physical Therapist onsite during classes for appropriate modifications. Bring your own blanket.

Jane Desotelle of Underwood Herbs leads scheduled wild food and medicinal herb educational walks along the farm's property.  During the Spring and Summer season

Jane participates each week at the Plattsburgh Farmers' and Crafters' Market and

the Keene Valley Farmers' Market.

 

In her latest article, "Eat the Aliens", published in the 2013 spring edition of

Adirondack Life Magazine , Jane writes, "Just what are aliens? I have a general rule of

thumb: if the plant was not here before white man came, it’s considered an alien. I have a list

of 60 or so—including apples, asparagus, raspberries and daylilies.  Some of these could have

come on The Mayflower."
